Prior to starting her PhD, Magdalen completed a BA and BPPE (Hons) at the ANU. Magdalen started her PhD candidature at the ANU in 2024. Her research focuses on decision-making under severe uncertainty. In particular, she is interested in the techniques that have been proposed to deal with challenges related to making predictions about climate variables and evaluating climate-related outcomes and interventions.
